What company would do something so stupid as to not allow older files to be opened, or at the least include a conversion program to convert the older PRO files? I just don't understand why the older, long-term TerraCad and TerraModel users were left completely out in the rain on this issue. I have about 1000 files in the OLD DOS TM-8, and a few times a month, I could really make use of the older files(older jobs) I've noticed, that although I never liked TM compatibility(or lack thereof), with AutoCad drawings, that there are a lot of conversion programs to load files(from OTHER cad software) into TerraModel.įOR the life of me, I don't understand a company that spends a lot of resources to import OTHER programs' files, but pay absolutely no heed what-so-ever for their own older files.
I've tried DOS emulators and searching for text editors that would let me see these files.
